My Home in Saint George, Utah

Well, I am moving from Hurricane to nearby Saint George on 3/1/07.  I bought a new home in a fantastic neighborhood called Paradise Canyon.  I am only two blocks from a trail head that leads to all sorts of hiking and mountain biking trails in the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve; and two blocks from the paved Bike & Walk trail system that runs all through Saint George.  There's also a wonderful park within walking distance where Bogart and Katie can play.  Snow Canyon State Park, one of my favorite Southern Utah places, lies only three miles away, and I can access it on the bike trails or hiking trails that I just mentioned.  In short, this is pure heaven for me.  The brand new house is 1,776 square feet, about 300 square feet smaller than the Hurricane house - this suits me better.  The neighborhood is super, and the HOA Clubhouse has both an outdoor and indoor pool.  I am a ten minute walk to a new Starbucks - an essential.

Check out the photos!!!

Note wrought iron work - railing and little window inserts.

Front of Home (Duh!)  I love the high entry & the entry way.  I will be installing decorative wrought-iron gates, as well as wrought-iron decorative designs in the bottom square openings in the wall.

Kitchen in medium-dark Oak.  I installed this rich, beautiful granite after moving in.  The location of my home is spectacular for my interests.

Great Room - curved wall of windows

Master Bath Jetted-tub & separate Shower

Master Bath - double sinks.  Photo taken before I moved in.

Master Bedroom - Antique Chinese lanterns (circa 1790).

Antique Chinese Armoire.

Master Bedroom sitting area.

Exterior - back yard - single french doors off Master Bedroom and off Dining Room.  Dog Run is behind fence and gate.

Large, covered Entry Way - about 12' x 12' - fully walled, with gate to match wrought iron work.
